Jonathan practices taxation law and trust law where he advises on income tax, capital gains tax, land tax and duties to accountants, small and medium enterprises and individuals and their families. He also implements legal advice rendered to clients and assists them in disputes with the ATO and tax litigation.
Before joining Munro Lawyers, Jonathan practiced law in the Philippines where he was admitted after passing the bar examinations. His interest in taxation law took him to working for the private sector such as Ernst & Young where he advised clients in local and international tax matters and the public sector.
Jonathan obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the San Beda College in Manila, Philippines, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law in Sydney, and most recently, a Diploma in Law from the NSW Legal Profession Admission Board in April 2019.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys watching foreign language films, learning Spanish and traveling to interesting places.
